Thanks for all of the nice compliments. Its a lot of work and such a small thing as adding paint makes all of the labor come to life. I hope to get back on the cab next week. Finish up the firewall, get it blasted and start adding some filler. With any luck, I'll make it to the Shades of the past this fall. (Well, a lot of luck and $$$$$)

Low6t4, rebuilding your frame isn't that Bad. I talked to Chris at Palmetto Rod Worx and he said to just give him a call. We've got a couple of extra frames that could be modified however you'd like.

Kevin, I've been looking for some updates on your truck. I need some inspiration.

Well, I've got my engine cleaned, rebuilt and reassembled, gonna shoot some color on it first thing Saturday morning. I got the Wilwood master cylinder and prop valve in yesterday. Going tomorrow evening to TKM Rod shop to pick up all of the plumbing to finish up the brakes. Man, I can't wait till the weekend to get some progress done.

Well, the motor, Trans and rack-n-pinion, are all sprayed. I got the brake line run fron the front to the rear. The through frames are installed and plumbing is complete to the front Calipers. . I've still got to mount the Prop valve to the frame, bend and install the hard lines from the prop valve to the through frames for the front brakes, and run the lines from the Tee on the rear axle to the rear calipers. All in all I had a pretty good day. I'm off work Monday, so hopefully, I'll finish up the brake lines and get the motor and trans set for the last time. I'll try take some pics on Monday and post the progress. The headers should be ready to pick up from the Ceramic coater's on Tuesday. Things are starting to come together, at least on the frame. Body work is coming up and man I hate body work.....

I got the motor and Transmission sat in the frame for the last time. Headers are back from Ceramic coating and bolted on.The valve covers and deep sump trans pan came in today. I placed the valve cover on to get an idea, hopefully tomorrow I'll get the trans pan on and the valve covers bolted down.

Sorry no pics today. I did get the valve covers bolted down and the crank case breather installed. The deep sump trans pan is bolted on with the new filter and extension. The exhaust is bolted back on and I got the new lokar trans fluid dip stick installed. Also changed out the water pump bolts to stainless and got the DUI all cleaned up. Didn't get as much done as I wanted but at least I made some progress.

Got a lot accomplished this weekend, but I'm afraid that it cost me. My wife went to the beach with her sister for the weekend. I hate to hear how much she spent when she gets home but for now, I'm happy with my weekend progress.
Finished welding up the holes in the firewall, cut a hole in the tunnel for the trans shifter, got the new Lokar trans shifter installed but didn't get the linkage hooked up yet. replaced the driverside floor due to some cancer, cut out the cowl vents and slicked it down and last but not least, finished up the brake pedal assembly. For clearance issues with the big block, I'm using the clutch side to mount the master cylinder to but actuating it with the brake pedal. Also sucked up the steering column closer to the dash and pulled it a little more center of the speedometer. Here are some pictures. Sorry, No pics of the tranny tunnel or floor. Did them this morning and forgot to take pictures of them. Man, I love weekends...
