Slick 60's

Today I installed my new front springs and new front shocks..

Tommorow will be new wheels and tires, sway bar and rear shocks.. I'll try to get better photos, these are not too good..

Looks great, you put in a lot of good work and it shows. I really like the silver on these trucks too.

Grits, They are standard eye monos. They would look great on your uni..

Today I installed my rims, tires, and rear shocks.. ( If anyone has a couple of those centers I'm looking)

I decided not to install the front sway bar because I need to get some caster shims at the parts store.. Changing the tilt of the axle may throw off the bar mounting points. As it sits the caster is at zero and it show at 50 - 60 mph..

Looks really good Jason. I still had a pair of those caps here a while back - I'll take a look. I seem to remember thinking "don't ditch those somebody may need them."

Nut much truck time this weekend but I did finish my sway bar brackets..

I kinda did a combination of Max's ans Skips.. With drop monos I didn't have room for the links like on Max's and my welder isn't heavy enough to weld to the axle like Skip did.. I'm also using a different type of link, it'll have one bolt into the frame through an "eye".. The bracket will hold the bar and the links will go to the frame..

The bracket ( 3/8" steel ) on the left shows the bottom and the one on the right shows the top.. Grade 8 flat head caps screws will go into the countersunk holes.. I used the countersink bolts so the bolt head will not hit the axle (between the u-bolt nuts)..

Next weekend I'll get the brackets, sway bar, and caster wedges installed. I also plan to set the toe..

I installed my front sway bar and my caster shims today.. What a difference they made.

I do have a wobble at full speed but I'll get that resolved...

I guess i'll fix that oil leak also..

I had a good day with the slick..

I pulled the seat out and cleaned it with the pressure washer. It looks a ton better.

While the seat was out I installed my trans cover, new flooring and lap belts..

It is a rubber material with about 1/2" of foam on the back.. It worked ok but to stiff to try and put up over the trans hump.. It made the cab much more quiet...
