Welcome from So. Cal. Love your story and your truck. My wife and I did a similar trip this last summer to Slick Stock and had a blast. Have fun with your new baby.

You had to drive right by my house when you were in Phoenix. I like the story. You're not kidding about there being no accomidations on the rez! I bet that truck turned some heads in indian country.

Welcome from Texas! I also have a short flareside, but mine is Caribbean Turquoise. I really like the pic from the cab looking out on the highway and the travelogue. I wish my story was as awesome! 30 miles on a Uhaul car carrier to the house is just not quite the same. My excitement was a piece of gravel picked up with the tow vehicle richocetted off the trailer jack and broke out the back window as we were going to pick it up. I thought I had been shot!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and kind words.
Gritsngumbo: thanks for setting me straight on 'Step Side' vs. 'Flare Side.'
I enjoy my slick more with each day - I am sure it won't be too long before I start asking lots of questions.

Great story on your truck.
Did you stop at the Standing On The Corner In Winslow Arizona Monument when you were there? I have been there several times and never stopped to see it.
You sure got to see a lot of what Arizona has to offer. I hope you did stop and at least look at Lake Powell. It is best to see out on the lake, you will see the most beatiful lake that there is(in its own way).
We always make sure that we stop at Vicksburg when we are on our Harley's just to look at the old cars there.
Best of luck on your new truck. You will love it.
