I understand some building the brand Xs as they have no knowledge of Fords or how to build them. Just another easy way out. Welcome Ruthanne, glad to see you found the Slick 60's. Guys, I have told her about the SBC! She has finished her truck after her husband passed away. I have posted some photos of the wood bed Bruce Horkey made for her truck. In her defense, she had her choice between the Uni or his Corvette.
If you drove a Ford, you wouldn't need a good wrench!

63 Uni with sbc
Well, the rest of the story is... sbc was already in it, I just added nice stuff, wood bed, tonneau custom, etc. I enjoy it and it's fun to drive, what more can you ask for? I get razzed all the time from my fellow club members, doesn't bother me a bit.
Glad to see another uni, 1963 Unibody, 2007 Mustang conv.
Trucklady, enjoy your truck. Just glad to see people involved in the hobby, strength in numbers. Stay active and aware.
