FWIW: For the block and oil pan I used Eastwood's black engine paint (in a can) and brushed it on after cleaning the block with Purple Power and Gunk engine cleaner. The firewall and the remainder of the engine compartment I used Rustoleum High Heat Engine Paint in a rattle can and did a lot of selective spraying and masking. The valve covers (Ford Red) and air cleaner are also Rustoleum high heat engine paint.
No clear, hadn't even thought about it until you asked. The Eastwood print and the Rustoleum are both glossy paints.

My bad, I did not mean to jump in on your thread. I thought it was a "post pics of your before and after engine bay" I did not realize it was just for yours, which looks great by the way. I will remove my pics if you want me too.. :oops:
