I Ran Across This Photo. The Mechanicsburg Gatekeepers LOL...

NZ has a town called Whykickamoocow, we have a town called Dunedoo pronounced Dunn ee doo!, a dunny is a slang word for outside toilet.

In Kentucky there is a town called Philpot and another named Monkeys Eyebrow. In Indiana theres one named Birds Eye.

Failed to mention Santa Claus Indiana.

We went through HOOKER Oklahoma on the way to SlickStock. I was watching for the next town to be Jigalo.
We have Why & Nowhere here in Arizona.

Then there's our southerly neighbor, Lake Jackson, Texas, with street names such as Any Way, and This Way, which intersects That Way. I have found His Way, but have yet to locate Wrong Way!

maybe yall need to drive in south louisiana close to the coast them towns all have french or spanish or italin names, i wouldnt even ask what they mean i would just keep driving.

Southeast of KC near Truman Lake - Tightwad Mo. with Mizer Ave and Penny-pincher Lane

years ago, to get from my duty station on the Oregon Coast to the interstate, I had to drive thru a town called Drain. Down to Drain on the way home.

There is a Mechanicsville in the Southern part Maryland. I specifically mention it as Southern as those of use from that area want to be distingushed from the nut jobs in the rest of the state

there is also "racket" right down the road. i wouldn't want to get in trouble in "racket". sounds like a money sieve.

My Uncle used to snowbird in Why Arizona .

In the early eighties, we used to go down to Spokane for the AHRA drags in August, and on the way back, almost to the B.C. Border, there was a little place call Good Grief, Idaho. All that was there was little on wood building, which was a BAR.....and both times we tried to stop in, it was closed:(.....seems the owners were pretty casual about business hours:):)

The Eastern shore is the same way, we don't like to associate with the rest of the State, I wish they would tear down the Bay Bridge and leave us alone.

we passed by Sexsmith, AB,Canada on the way down here.

smith at the end of a word usually indicates a trade, blacksmith,etc.
