Any of you know if I can order one from somewhere? It didn't come with 6068 at the auto parts store. Thanks

No problem, I wanted to post it so others know what to look for. I also have the other style and I now have a couple of these so I can swap them next time I am doing something. On one truck I can't even unscrew the drain plug so I have to jack up the engine to change the oil so it will be getting one of these pans very soon! LOL The sad part was I did not even know about these pans until I went junkyarding. I have pulled dozens of sets of motor mounts from 460 trucks and never noticed that rear drain. When I found these I looked at several trucks and only the later 70's ones had the rear drains and the earlier ones were like what I already have. Oh well, got the other one on already and its staying there for now..lol
Thanks for the pic though.. I really understand these oil pans now.
Can you guys tell me if I need the electric choke or the manual choke? I know my 66 had a manual choke originally. Thanksbanjopicker66 wrote:Santi, don't get any carb larger than 600 CFM, unless you plan to drag or race or mud or want the wow factor.
I started with a 750 CFM, and although it ran well and gave me lots of power, it ran rich.
Changed over to a 600, and mileage went up and power stayed the same for regular truck type duties. I can tell it doesn't quite have the same ooomph at WOT, but I don't anticipate ever needing to tun that high.
My 460 has an "RV" type cam in it, and has straight up camshaft timing, using a Cloyes double roller set.
