Looking good. I guess that you had to fill the hole behind the fake gas cap or somebody will fill up your cab with gas.

Nice progress! I like the front licence plate.
I was just at a pawn shop in Moose Jaw on the weekend looking through their collection of plates and couldn't find a single '62, let alone a seasonal farm use one.

Sweet build! I love the dummy gas can setup. Did you have it out to any shows in Toon town this year? I didn't make up to any ( I am from Davidson) but my buddies usually tell me if they spot any unis running around the city. Look forward to more pics

Took it to the Long and McQuaid show at their store sometime this summer, but that was really the only one. Hope for a few more shows this next summer. I got the dash done also so the cluster not just 'floating' there banging around. I've got the truck in storage right now and its a little hard to get at but I'll get some pics of it in the spring when I take it out.

K, crappy pic but I'm not waiting untill the spring to take a good shot. I will when the time comes, but right now this is as good as it gets. I didn't want to make my own dash, not a fan of the home made look, so this is the best I could come up with. Took a 65-66 bezel and the crown vic cluster, cut my own plexy window and made a spacer out of 1/2 inch MDF. Came up with this:
Thoughts.....
I added the green signal and blue high beam indicators as they no longer work in the cluster.

I like it. Maintains the functionality of the CV cluster without looking out of place. Very clean solution, nice work!

Thanks! I still need to figure out a way to light it at night though. LED's drilled through the MDF maybe. I've got a few months to figure that one out.
On a side note, picked up a '93 Mark VIII last night.......... I see another build in my future!

The cluster conversion looks great! Clean & simple. Just curious why you can't connect all the lights/gauges in the cluster and use them like they were in the donor? Would also be cool to black out the PRNDL if the indicator doesn't work. Cool truck!

I kept enough of the cars harness to keep the engine functioning and that was it. I used a Rebel chassis harness for things like the lights, wipers, heater, etc..... The signal lights run through the chassis harness and this was the easiest way. I really could have spent the time to figure it out, but I was frustrated that it took that long to figure out what I did, and that I just wanted it done. I could always go back to figure out which pin on the cluster controled the signals, and go back to that.
I thought of covering the PRND12 with something, but again wasn't sure what to use that would make it look covered up, so I just left it.

Love your truck. Are you in Saskatoon? I keep getting bugged to bring my truck out there in the summer. Would be a great road trip!

I've been watching your build arod, inspired me to grab a 93 mark viii to start on another one of these! Except this time I'm going to do an old International I've been holding onto trying to figure out what to do with. Now I know, quad cam 4.6 with independent suspension and air bags!
