clutch return spring
the one under the hood that goes on the clutch fork. anyone tell me where it goes? the shop manual is kind of vague. it shows it going forward towards the cross member, but it doesn't show where and i don't see right off where it would go. any help?

oh, and that big sob under the dash. any hints on hooking that bad boy up? i can tell where it goes, but i'm not falling for the "let pliers slip and take a chunk of my forehead out with them" trick. any advice on that one?

the one on the fork hooks to either a frame bracket with a little hole or in the under engine crossmember. will go see.
the other one under the dash is best attached before installing the pedals, if you pull the pedal all the way up it should be easy to get onto the notch on the bracket.
came off easy and did not go flying across the yard.

pro street, i currently have it hooked to the rear of the front cross member where there is a gusset or something with a little notch. doesn't look right, but has some tension and is working so i'll stay with it for now.
brian, any pics would help, but don't go laying in all that mud on my account. lol
now you tell me (about the big spring). i may just have to start over. that thing has an ungodly amount of tension on it.
