Block heater, maybe? Or there's an inverter wired in to the circuit and it was used for plugging in a trouble light or something? :?

A little bit much for a non running 352?
Looks like the truck would be nice for a doner. And has a nice grill.

the 120 volt plug was a kit you could buy that converts 12 volt dc in to 110 ac for runing a saw or what ever you wanted it for like camping to run lights and they worked well and i think these kits are still out there and they are called voltage converters :)
