Rich my buddy's '64 F-100 4x4 has the square mount rubbers.. I belive this is because the 4x4's (except '66 F-100's) used the big truck cab, with the battery in the passenger's side floor.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

the square mounts and also the matching frame piece were used on all 61-66 f250 4x4s, f350, 500. etc.also 61-64 f100 4x4s .
could not find # in book either, had it wrote down last time i had one of the rubbers off but dont know what i did with it.

61 lower door A pillar hinge pocket stamping does not have a clean out hole.

62 and up have the 1.25" hole and plastic plug. Including the recently introduced lower section.

Also please find a slab side split bed 61. A conventional 81 style with the 57 to 60 bed. There is another Holy Grail of slick dom for 2 wheel drive trucks. Ford never put this bed on 2 wheel drives in 61. all recieved flair sides so as not to cut into the new Styleside integral cab truck introduced in 61.
