What day are the Kansas City Slicks haeding up?

Post by cdherman »

I am going to make reservations, but then I though -- it might be really cool to "convoy" up.

Would that be of interest to you other KC folks?

What day are you heading up? I was planning Thursday mid to late afternoon.

I'll be coming up Thursday from Arkansas through springfield, mo and will then be passing through Kansas City. I was wanting to arrive before the cookout. I don't miss too many meals.

So there are at least several folks coming from KC or through KC that will head up on Thursday.

I think I'll make my reservations for that day and then as things get close we can decide if a convoy is a good idea.

I think it is important to convoy, think what would have happened with the Iowa members if they went thier own way last year.

I'd be interested in that convoy. And Thursday afternoon sounds good to me. That's gonna come up quick -- think I better get to work on that top end rebuild.

Dan, unless I'm mistaken - most of the Texas slicks should be passing through KC as well.

Adam, Tom - thanks for correcting me! It's vitally important that I get names right, especially from the more respected members here. Image

Alan, I get kicked around by all of the Texas members on a regular basis. I'm quite used to the insults, torment and abuse.

Dave, don't blame me this thread wound up in left field. You should've been named Dan. Danmit!

I talked to Truckrat and he is planning on leaving Oklahoma City on Tuesday and spending the night in Kansas City. We are planning on BBQ Tuesday night and leaving for Slick Stock on Wednesday. :steering:

I may coordinate with some of the Texas guys and travel up with them. I am flexible and can leave just about anytime.
