not giving up the slick by any means, just needed something easier for her mom to get in and out of and keep groceries from getting wet and deter those who would steal stuff out of the bed in town.

i say new because its new compared to our slicks and has some of those modern things not found on them.

government seems to be after folks to buy vehicles and stimulate the economy so we did just that, but the stimulus cash went to a friend and theres no debt or high insurance for her to pay.

its an 82 E150 club wagon, 351 W with cruise, tilt, 4 captains chairs , factory am fm casette and rear heater. i drove it home yesterday. has 41 K miles which i believe to be original due to how clean it is ,fires right up, auto choke works as its supposed to , excellent oil pressure, no noise or anything frrom the engine compartment.
has a few cosmetic issues, needs the front bumper straightened on the drivers side and that fender and door replaced but came with a parts van that has those.
set her back $400
was really weird to drive that thing with the ps and p brakes, gotta be careful or im going to eat that steering wheel and nothing for my left foot to do either

I love it Ice. Hope the slicks don't get jealous. I am sure you have a spare 223 and 4 spd kicking around in case you feel the need to "toughen" the van up and make it a feel a little bit more at home in your yard

FWIW, what's the wheel base? Would make a killer 4x4

sure would be a lot more comfy than sleeping in the uni on the way to ss next year.

that however is not what i wish to do, the whole point of getting the uni to begin with was driving it there.

I always did like those wheels, haven't seen a set in maybe 20 years. They would look really cool on your Uni.
