Post by Terraizer »

i'am new to this board and am looking at buying a 1962 short Unibody and would like to put it on a Crown Vic my questions are 1. does the cab floor need to be cut up? i know the bed floor needs to be cut. 2.What is everybody doing for body mounts that have down this swap? 3.what else needs to be modified? Any help would be great. Thanks

You won't need to cut the floor, unless you plan on scraping the ground.

I've done the body channeling bit, BUT I'm thinking about going a different route that won't require cutting the cab. I'll need to replace the parts I've already cut, but that won't be as bad as some I've seen.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive body, but to skid in sideways - body worn out and screaming: Woo Hoo, what a ride!"
