Bought a 09'

Post by 66fordtrucknut »

I traded my 05' for a 09', they paid off my truck plus some, 2500 rebate, cost zero out of pocket, and 40 bucks cheaper a month, I'm wondering what I missed. I know we're old truck guys but I really like this truck. Rides great, I've been loading her down with firewood already, does great and seems to get really good gas mileage. I went from a 5.4 with a 4.10 to a 4.6 with3.53 and this still has the tow package.

Zero out of pocket for $40 less a month? Dang, you know how to shop. :D
How about you finish that '65 body and stick it on the frame? Then we won't tease you about buying a new truck!

Can't, the new truck is a longbed. There would be a huge gap between the front of the bed and the cab. Heard anything from Wayne lately? I've tried calling him a couple of times.

I know what you mean, I didn't have to buy one that was the best part. But I've liked these trucks from when I 1st seen them.

Hey Charlie,

Congrats on the new ride! And, best of luck with it.

Next time I'm in the market for a new ride, I'm gonna get you to negotiate the deal for me.

Later...Bill

P.S. I talked to Wayne about two weeks ago. He's doing okay, just very busy (as usual).

Charlie
Congrat's on the new truck. I bought a new 150 earlier this year and I really love it. I got the short bed STX with the 4.6 V8, averaging about 19.8 MPG. And it rides so nice. Enjoy!

I remember when you bought that, thats a real sharp looking truck. Did those running boards come on it?

yes the running boards came on it, I'm not a big fan of them. I don't like useing them and catch my leg on them getting in and out. But I DO like the pop out step for the bed, it makes getting thing in and out of the bed easy. I don't care what Howie Long say's.
