Is there a bucket /reflector on the back of your dome light?
I can't seem to find any evidence that there should be one there, but want to find out for sure.
All I have is a clip that holds the light bulb sideways in the hole, and the lense goes on top of that, but is there a bucket in behind, or not on YOURS?
The buckets from the regular trucks DO NOT WORK for a BBW because the light socket sticks out the back and they dont even come close to sitting flush in the hole.. they stick out a LOT.

there is no metal bucket on the 61-64 lights, just the wires, socket and lens pieces.
the light when installed is not behind the headliner like the 64-72, but sticks out into the cab.

forgot to mention there is a ground wire that goes from the socket screw to the sheet metal above the window on standard cabs, not sure how the bbw looks from the inside.if you need a pic of the light installed let me know.

It grounds right to the cab where it clips on ice.
A pic is worth a thousand words so here are 2 thousand
[albumimg]1428[/albumimg]
shows the hole in the back of the cab and how the light clips on
and [albumimg]1429[/albumimg] shows what the lense cover (without lense) will look like roughly in place.
I just realized looking at these pics that the clip goes in the upper right hand corner and must have a ground screw through it.
so... Bucket or no bucket? Hmm?

the difference is on the standard cab, you need the ground wire because cardboard dont conduct electricity.thats what my unc told me anyways.
