Multimedia coverage?

Post by 65Lover »

How about live webcams filming the convoys coming from all different parts of the country. A map of the US with the dots moving as the groups get closer to Iowa?
Webcam on the hotel parking lot where the Slicks are...?

Problem with this idea is it takes a committment from some people to keep it up, taking away from the whole appeal of Slick Stock, visiting, inspecting and just shooting the bull.

very true.

might not be so tough to do for one or 2 of the events like the valve cover racing but would be real difficult i think for the entire week.

Yea, I missed out on a lot of good conversations going on because I always had a camera in my hand but don't regret anything about the trip at all. Can't wait for Iowa.

That's ok. You didn't miss much. I'm pretty sure a few conversations went something like this.

Hey Ezer, pass me a beer.
Boy, I'm sure glad that ol Max is taking pictures of this thing.
I should really get just one more pic of Merl's truck.
That's ok, Max is getting lots.
You're right, man its hot.
Ezer, where's your keys, time for a beer run

I did plenty of pics, but had plenty of the bubbly too.
And Mark is right, "Hey Ezer, pass me another brew, buddy!"
Maybe next year we can get some gals to take care of that and give Chris a rest. "Uno Mas Cerveza, Por Favor, Senorita!!!" TR
