I say go with RED ones that come on with the light switch and glow brighter with the brake application!!
Sorry, I just couldn't resist.....
I have seen a lot of different kinds of tailights molded into flareside fenders over the years. Some that come to mind are a single round light from a '60's Impala, or the BMW "peace sign" lamps. How about some "bullit" '59 Caddy's? I've also seen a double set that I think came off of a Packard of some kind.
Welcome to the site, by the way!!

I put an 80's Fairmont rear bumper on my 79 F150 Flareside when it was new. You could put the oval truck lite LED's in it. Like these.

I don't know what look you are going for but - I would french 2 or 3 59 Caddy tailights in to the rear of each fender in a vertical line.
Or;
60 Starliner tuned 90 degrees
chevrons
1 or 2 57-60 F 100 frenched in each side

I have a 66 stepside and I'm thinking of using one of these rollpans with built-in tail lights.

THESE Lights are late model caddy LED Ligts that are very bright frenched into the back of my 56 Panel,, also notice for a rear bumper, that is a new steel front bumper ofa 92-96 that has been cut,sectioned, exhaust frenched as license plate frenched,, afterawhile reardoors where replaced welded shut then made into a lift gate with both windows cut out and a 55 one piece Ranch Wagon welded in so chrome would match w/s caddy lights would fit in back of bed

I wish the one my folks got me a few years back was one of those.... Mine was a PITA to try to put a hidden hitch in..... And I wish it had lights in it....
