Brian, according to mapquest, I live at exactly the half way point for you to KC. I am only about 60 miles of your route. Try Talkeetna to Hinton, Alberta, Canada. In perspective, I am about a 9 hour drive to John's place. I am right on the edge of the Rockies. When you are heading South on the Alaska highway, go down Hwy 40 at Grande Prairie and I am 3 hours South of there. We would love to convoy with you and Mrs. Ice.
