Yeah, I got soaked running from EZ-UP to EZ-UP... LOL
I was really surprised how many people came out despite the rain. No drags or cackle-fest, but still a pretty big turnout.

Tell me about it! I wish the bed on my '59 was that clean.

Is your truck bagged OGNC? Sure is a sweet little shorty! What is it powered by?

That blue truck is nice. The wrong beds are really growing on me. Funny - that pic of your truck and the blue one are complete opposite perspectives!

I am also not too sure I like the grille on the copper one. Wonder how it was done?

Thanks for the pics!

Yep, it is bagged. It is a '66 so it has dropped I-beams and the front frame has been notched to let them swing all the way up and let the front crossmember touch the ground. It still has the 240ci straight 6 with a 3-speed manual transmission.

I think the copper one just has an old-school tube grille, maybe an original Stull?

If you are going to tube grill a Slick - that is the way to go. Cool pics! I am right your wheels are 2 colors? I like them.

They are actually all 4 antique gold with ribbed trim rings and chrome lug nuts. They are early-style Ford wheels off one of my other projects. They were actually off my '59 truck that is now sitting on the wheels and tires off my '42 pickup. My '42 pickup now has American Racing Salt Flats on it... Confused, I know I am...

Oh, the stock wheels off my '66 are shod in wide whitewalls and are sitting in my garage with a blown tire...

Bet you have some problems driving that with a four or five ricks of firewood. I like the grill in the copper one some, at least I like the look. I have some issues with trying to drive it after dark. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

My '66 is actually a retired farm truck from the mid-west so it has seen its share of work. It moved to California to spend its golden years as an airbagged lay about, leaving the work to much younger, stronger trucks. LOL

I love the blue slick. I wonder if the engine bay is just as clean as the outside?
