Slick 60's

I am looking for a drivers side dash. The area from the windshield to the column and from the "A" pillar to the center of the speaker.
Much later I plan to take that section and graft it to the passenger side of the dash inplace of the glove box area. To make the dash symetrical for a custom look. I am not in a hurry for it, but if someone has a cab they have cut up for other projects and have no need for the dash let me know. Being close to Texas would help on pick up. I could get one from a scrap yard but cutting one out in a yard is really hard to do and the yard would charge a lot for a cab when all I want is a small section.

Hey Brian I am probably going to pick up this tanker after Christmas and do a quick parts pull (front sheet metal and doors and a few other parts) As I recall the cab was kinda rusty in the bottom so I will probably just scrap the cab.

i have junk cabs, will cut out parts to measurements provided.
what you are asking about is not that heavy so shipping will not be too bad.

i have the entire dash/cab/cowl section that i will cut up. the roof has been cut off and the floor was cut out and was sold along time ago. tell me where exactly you want it cut at and i can get it done

18v battery sawzall is what i use for that.

I`d feel right at home in that Brian!

Next time your in the area Alan I will take you for a ride in it. To make you feel more comfortable I will put a steeing wheel on a bolt on that side too for you. But i will not drive on the left side of the rode.

Thats it Thug. I think it will look sweet. I have been looking for a large clock or ???? to put in place of the speedo and will make the gauge pods vents or ??? still working on ideas. I also want it to open as a glove box.
With the arch of the 2 dashes I will have them drop into the form of the center console with a bank of gauges and radio to make it look like it is suppose to be there not just stuck in.
By the way is that a Thunderbolt scoop on that hood??

They are doing an article on dash swaps. In it they are using a 50's Pontiac dash in an F-1. Also I saw a grill from a 64 Galaxy in a early 60's Pick up. Unless you are doing a restore you may want to think a little out of the box for something different for making it unique.

I like subtle mods these trucks look good with the right stance and a good body. I just want to be a bit unique but keep the Ford in it.
