Had planned to attend but found out last week that I have lymphoma....cancer of the white blood cells. I will be finishing chemo about the time SS2010 is taking place. Guess I will catch the next one.......Ross

Mike, higher up on the main page is a forum for SlickStock. It will be held in Altoona Iowa this year in Aug. All the info is in the SS forum

Ross, I'm so sorry to hear you will not be at Slick Stock due to illness. I hope you come thru chemo fine and can be at Slick Stock V in 2012. My daughter-in-law has been diagnosed with stage 2 cancer and I understand the pain your family is experiencing. Hang in there and fight the good fight and we'll drilnk an adult beverage or two at Slick Stock in 2012.

Thanks Casey, it has indeed been an adventure....well maybe not an adventure but an experience nun the less. I got the blood work results back last week and the chemo has done its job. Two more sessions of the toxic brew (today and then mid May) and then it is build back some sort of immune system and some energy. My prayers are with your daughter in law. Raise a couple for me at slick stock..................Ross
