   Only a few of those pics did I think that they were models. The rest looked the pics from the past of real cars. Amazing detail.

WOW, truly amazing work on both the models and the backgrounds
As my dad used to say, somewhere there was a horse that died a painful death from terminal constipation due to missing a key part of its anatomy.

Incredible detail!!! The man is a genuine artist...It baffled me how he did his backgrounds, untill he put himself in frame. Very creative. :)

Incredible stuff, I thought I was kid again. The man is a true genius to capture the scenes so realistic.

Wow! This guy is gifted. Very realistic sets....that could be in movies.

Thanks for sharing, Brian. This is an excellent post.

Just a bit of criticism...that's skilled photography, not so much model building. At least 90% of the vehicles were pre-assembled die casts. Not sure about the buildings; I may concede those were built vs bought (being in model trains, I don't recall seeing those houses pre-built anywhere).

Still impressive, but don't give him credit for building the cars.

I have a lot of the cars. Franklin Mint, Danbury mint. With that said, the guy is still very gifted making the buildings and having the skill to blend the shots of his cars with the back grounds of real building and scenery.

Models

Post by Truckrat »

I was amazed at the details. Nothing about them looked out of place. To do photography and lighting the way he did for the day and night shots of the cars and buildings has me thinking this guy may have worked in the motion picture industry or at the least is a very accomplished photographer. Too bad their weren't any slicks in it. Saw some fat fender fords and some 20s and 30s trucks. Way cool! TR
