This is my current project I have been working on. 1963 F250 converted to 4x4. Truck hasn't been registered since 1980. Guy started to repaint it back then and never finished. It spent the last 30 years sitting in a carport so the rust is very minimal. 8)

Few picks from the day I brought her home.

Nicest bed I have ever seen.

Came with a bunch of NOS parts. All the window and door seals. Vent wings and dividers. Arm rests. And a 1966 grill. All dated 1977-1983. :D

Came with these rims too.
Image

Cleaned up the dash. The pad is perfect.

Someone stuck a 312 out of a 57 Thunderbird in this beast back in the day. Guy who sold the project to me rebuilt it. I put a new electric fuel pump on it turned the key and it fired right up. 8)

Old school Weinand valve covers.
Image

Old school Edlebrock intake with 3 Ford 94 carbs.
Image

First thing on the list. Get rid of Mazda swivel seats.
Image

Pulled the front clip and the engine.
Image

Image

The Floating transfer case.
Image

Pulled the cab.
Image

Went ahead and blasted the frame too bad its junk. :(

Frame has been torch cut and "welded" in 2 spots. Funny thing is they only cut the bottom and the side. You can see what I'm talking about in the next pic. :?

Horrible welds on the lift job. Guess this is how they did it back in the 70s?
Image

Image

I considered trying to save the frame. After about 20 mins of grinding welds I decided to go another route.

This truck was on craigslist for 800 bucks. Few weeks later it went down to 600. Had 90% of the parts I was missing and a perfect frame. Has a rebuilt 292 in it with 15,000 miles on it.

I pulled the parts truck in the shop yesterday. Time to start tearing it apart. Gonna take what I need and sell the rest.

You are off to a good start, the old gal sure was up there! Since you are pulled out that old 312 with the 3X2 edelbrock and the 94s and have the rebuilt 292 I would be more than happy to take the old 312 & goodies off your hands  All kidding aside you are going to have a fine ride. Just out of curiousity what are the first three letters on the ID plate.

Reread the post and notice you said that it had been converted to 4X4 so nevermind the question about the ID plate
