The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

Post by HOOK&GO »

Ugh my slick will not be on the road in time for my June wedding, I wonder if there is anyone in KC that could loan me a slick slick to drive to and leave the wedding :D

Well, it would mean meeting you personally and making DAMN sure you are legit and a very good driver, at a minimum.

But yes, there are Slicks in KC area that could be had for such an important event....

Its not a CC and its not a hot rod, but for a KC area weddun might be workable.

PM me and we can chat if you wish.......

That's what my x-wife said about my '55 F100. Needless to say the '55 lasted longer than she did.

Look on the bright side...maybe it will be ready in time for the divorce. Um, that is if she doesnt get it. Totally joking but it seemed like someone just had to say it.

Hey hey hey funny guy here :D it is all good, I want my part in the wedding planning too. You know she is doing a lot of the planning (not that I have a problem with that) but when the women (friends and sister) get together the money just seems to fly. We are having a vintage kind of wedding and I would love to have my slick but it is pretty far off right now.

I am pretty excited though and I tell you after proposing the time seems to go faster :o
