Anyone interested in a long BED?

Post by DV65CustomCab »

One of my old co-workers is now into Slicks and wound up with two. He is building a short-wide for himself and using a longbed for parts. He asked me if there is any interest in the bed from the long truck. Sides are good, floor has the usual leading-edge rust. No gate. It's off a '66. If anyone has interest, let me know. I don't think he wants much $ for it (we thought $100 but cash talks!), mostly just wants it gone from his driveway. Located in Hershey, PA. PM me for his contact info.

And yes, I'm working on getting him in the club.

It's tempting but I decided to stay w/ the wrong bed. It kinda grew on me. Plus I don't need the extra work.

Chuck, I offered it to Charlie, he has first dibs, but if he passes I should send you some photos.. Upon further inspection the passenger bed side is quite solid (needs on small patch)and the floor is nice.. The issue is the divers side.. More rust and the taillight panel is bashed in...

Dwight, Put me at the end of the list after everyone else but ahead of the crusher...

Hey Jason, I decided to pass on that truck and ended up buying a 78' F-350 dually with a 12' dump bed. Better suited for what I needed anyhow.
