I know the remodel is keeping you from your slick. Remember though, the project on the house is getting us one step closer to Texas cheerleader.gif . Once we are in Texas your "Slick 60" will never have to see the snow again and she will have a garage to protect her coldwithsnow.gif .

Keep that in mind as you work on the house.

I love you honey!!!

HaHa, well I got to work on the Slick today.
As for the Honey Do List, well my wife is going out of town Master's Week and I'm taking the week off from work while she's gone...to dog sit...yes that is what she ask me to do. :?
So while she's gone I plan on doing some honey do stuff since she won't be here to tell me how to do it. :o

Paranoid.
Dude.
Fix her bathroom.
Now.
And quit whining. There is no whining in Slick land.
Then you need to buy that woman some roses and take her to dinner.
Moving to Texas?
We'll be glad to have you, and remember, in Texas you ever have to shovel heat.
Where are you planning on living...... inquiring minds want to know.

Year 4, WOW!! I think we are on year 4 for the kitchen remodel. We have all the necessities in, just missing a back splash, one electric outlet, and some trim to finish it out. Paranoid decided to start on the bathroom since it is right off the kitchen. He was worried he would crack the grout in the kitchen when he started banging on the walls in the bathroom bang.gif .

I'll be exited when he gets it all done so he can focus on working on the other love of his life, "his slick 60". :D

Uncle Skip,

Thanks for the support. He just needs one of these :burp: LOL. Just kidding. I made him dinner tonight because he has been such a hard working man today.

I've been waiting on the floors to get done (thresholds, we need thresholds) but we have priorities :bangin: We're BOTH Scout leaders now...We did some hardwood in the dining room when it was on sale and a couple of tile hallways. I know..."we." Hey, I watched the kids  Now if only we could at least purchase the wood for the back bedroom, that foundation is cold. The crew cab is getting $$$ but better than the alternative of buying new and fill in the rest for the whole restoration project. Chris wouldn't have it any other way.

We both work so aren't home much anyway except the weekends and the few ones we have at home...are in the shop. Esp now that it might actually be warming up (we had snow last weekend so I have to be careful with that one) all our free time will be in the yard. Always something to do.
I think it's good to have the other perspective sometimes. Thanks Uncle Skip! Sometimes us women folk get a little jealous if we get neglected. It's a tough balance, I know see-saw.gif

Alan,

Actually a wet towel went into the bucket. Paranoid thought he had capped the water line, but it had small leak. cry.gif So, when he turned the water back on, it sprayed everywhere, LOL!! :rotflmao: He's got it mastered now, and all the plumbing is relocated. Today he is going to have fun with electrical and then the ever dreaded drywall.

Jenny,

Thanks for the support. I know my hubby has been working really hard on the house whip.gif and I appreciate everything he does. :D I also know how bad he wants to work on his truck. When he pulled the truck around the front of the house, he lifted the floor mats up and found the floor had completely rusted out. cry.gif He was depressed for days because he had let his baby deteriorate. He didn't have much choice though, since we don't have a garage and limited funds.

I see you live in the part of Texas that gets snow. We are planning on moving to San Antonio. My family lives there, and I was born there. I miss it, and cannot wait to move back to good ole SA.

Paranoid, it`s about 12 to 14 hrs, depending on the wind!, it`s not a done deal at the moment!, but we have everything crossed!, that we can make it to SS4 in Altoona. If we do it sounds like we might spend some time swanning around south of there! after wards.
