how to tell 351s apart?

The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

I had 351w's and was planning one until I got my 460, the 460 makes any thoughts of a 351 seem like a waste of time. and they are not that much more expensive. you can use alot of stock parts and make great power.

351 cleveland

Post by STOFFER »

i got mad at the junk 390 (crappy mix and match rebuild, long story) and I threw in a 351 cleveland into my '65 F-250.

the 351 cleveland is a lot lighter and make the front match the rear (i put 2 inch blocks under the rear) I am still unsure of keeping the C-6 or going back to a 4 speed truck trans
