new job today

Post by jammck66 »

Well guys, I started my new job today. I got a transfer from a different oil/gas field I was in. It was a 8 day in, 6 day out camp job. I started to hate due to the girls being so young, and jen having to fen for herself for that duration. so now I scored a monday to friday 8am to 4pm'er
except.... I have to move.
I put on 580kms today plus worked all day.
Might not seem like much for a long haul trucker (Cam, you do that right??)
But for an ol wimp like me, I can see it starting to become a problem after 4 consecutive days of it.
So.. as of friday afternoon, the mckeachnie residence will be up on the market....

I believe he is moving closer to civilization, somewhere around Grand Prairie.

Yes, I will be moving closer to grande prairie, not sure on when though,
Put 700kms on yesterday, I guess I should get my butt in gear and start looking a little harder, lol
So technically, JC, I will be closer to you, but only by about an hour and a half. Could easily make a daytrip and go see mark though from GP.
