I think I now know how to post pictures, so here comes a bunch from the project...

This is how it appeared when I went to first look at it at the PO residence.
Needless to say, I bought it the next day!!!

What's with the extra turn signals in the grille or are those fog lights? They look factory.

The antenna is kinda cool too. Where can I get one?

Very Nice! What motor is under the hood? Also am curious about the door VIN codes for this one. Can you post them? I presume it is one of those rust-free AZ Slicks we here about, right?

What is that support (?) on the bed, just below the back window, middle (not seen that before - what's it for?)?

Were those size outside mirrors Factory or optional; I always see the small round version or those west coast tripod type.

I do love the colors - a really fine looking Slick... Congratulations Steve on a great find! Carl

At this point, the cage is out of the truck with no plans to add it back in.
It is currently sitting up against the side of the garage acting as a home for wayward spiders, scorpions, and lizards...

They are "running lights" and I am not sure if they are dealer add-on or not? They fit real nice into the grill, but since they are not factory "stock", I am probably going to leave them off of the truck.

The antenna is kinda cool too. Where can I get one?

Umm, I'm not sure. I plan on filling those holes and using a hidden antenna when I am done with the project.

So many questions... The truck is a 352 w/ MX automatic transmission.

The VIN shows it to be a KC built truck, originally delivered to Phoenix, AZ, and a true Ranger with a U81 code for the body. It came from the factory as a turquoise/white exterior with the tan/camel/beige interior.

The support on the bed is for the spare tire. It could be mounted where you see it in the picture, or at either side of the bed near the tailgate.

The mirrors were probably PEP BOYS replacements by the PO who claimed the originals were too small to be useful. I already have a new set of the original style for replacement

Yes, that is the factory dash pad, but it is all "blown up" from sun exposure. I have already pulled it off and plan on keeping the top of the dash in metal instead.

Looks like someone recovered the seats at some point. The truck was well equipped when new with extra gages, and automatic transmission, short wheel base. Very sweet, all the things I wish my truck had.
