When I redid the seam on the back of the cab I also would replace the caulking on the drip rail above the door and windshield. Especially if it is showing cracks and missing in places.

Thanks for the tip!
I started working on cleaning up that area as well since I was working around there.
So far I have found only two little spots of surface rust where the filler had lifted slightly up from the metal.

Got some more work done today on the Slick.
I started gutting the interior out so I can lift the cab off to clean/paint the frame beneath.
I also found these markings in the inside of the firewall behind the insulation pad.
I think they are related to the Ranger interior package

I bought it here in Tucson, 11 years ago, and the parts truck was purchased here as well about 7 years ago.

Yay! The engine/tranny combo is now back installed in the frame, and the cab has also been put back into place.
Also, the new cab mounts have been installed
