Seems like we are gonna pull the Chapter sites in to here and off that goofy MSN. I donno that's what Matt and kid have in mind, but seems like a great idea to me.
Who knows. Miracles could happen and maybe more than 3 people in the west might have a get together.

Bah, that's too much to ask for. But at least we don't have to deal with MSN.

Yep it was last Thursday, when 61 Merc and I were at our autobody class. I was at the one before, too, when Maggie 66 and I had a quick meeting and an Xmas drink, sum total 1 hr.

For the Westerners to have more than 2 people at a GTG the sun, moon stars, and Comets have to line up perfectly, and hope no one gets a flat tire. You cheated and brought in a MAC member. They get 15 out to a meeting at the drop of a hat.

last one we had was in March of last year, me, Mrs. Iceman and Bills 66 when we went down to buy the 66 f100 from him.
i have met a few other slick owners here, not been able to keep in touch with a couple, or even get any new members, and i even got slick60s mentioned in the Anchorage paper.
i would make more business cards but we dont have a printer anymore.

Cool! This makes a lot more sense to me!

Did you have something specific you printed up Iceman? I was actually thinking about printing a few - I thought it'd be cool to pass one on or leave one on someone's dash. This group is such an excellent resource! And the people around here aren't bad either

Comet, I guess somebody does, for a while. I think any requests for new memberships i will just redirect to here though.
Not like the old creaky pirate ship Willy and a half dozen hangers on are running over at the old Slick60's site, where they are still taking new members

i find that hard to believe but i went there last week to find a pic in one of the albums and there are new members and posts.i did not look at any of them, as there is no need to encourage more by replying.

what will happen to all the pics if the main site on msn is closed ?

I can't access the links since I'm not a member... since we're trying to make a "shift" away from msn, maybe we could move them?

Yeah, good idea Jenna. It would be cool if each chapter had a "members rides" like MSN had.

I was referring to the business cards that JC pointed to, but YEAH! There's a gallery here... no reason people can't move photos over is there?

Well for members of the NW chapter on MSN, they are there, in the documents, in Word or PDF form.
