BREAKING NEWS: 2010 Spring Splash BIG Success!
BREAKING NEWS: 2010 Spring Splash BIG Success!
I just got back from Wyatt's "2010 Spring Splash". Once again, it was a HUGE success...
Wyatt's new pet project "Big Betty" was the centerpiece. Those boys do some incredible work...
..."Extreme Makeover: Horseshoe Edition" had just finished work on the new pits...
...We celebrated Wyatt's birthday with a special cake. It's hard to believe that guy is 69 years old...
...Oh, and there were a few Slicks there too. I think two more showed up after these two shots were taken...
...Here's the motley crew...
...SlickMainer (aka Gregg) won this year's "Long Distance Award". Gregg came in from Portland, Maine (close to 9 hours away). Thanks Gregg for joining us!
...We decided that the theme for next year will be "Arizona or Bust"...
...After dinner we took a little cruise...
...To the "Shoe House" for some ice cream...
I had a GREAT time! Many thanks to Chuck, Jackie, Chad, Ben, Carl, and everyone else who made it such a success.
Can't wait until "Spring Splash 2011"!!!

Glad you guys had the usual good time. I wound up being sick all weekend with the most brutal sore throat I've ever had, couldn't talk (the wife was naturally pleased), couldn't sleep, just awful. Doing better today. Maybe I'll see you at Ford Carlisle.

INEPTOCRACY: (in-ep'-toc-ra-cy) : a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Hi Guys, Thanks for coming to the get together. Jackie and I had a great time. Now I have a whole year to work on the next get together.
When Tom came up from the Carolinas last year, It gave me the idea for the long distance award. Gregg drove all the way from Portland Maine this year and got to ride in Big Betty to the shoe house and recieve the long distance award. Thank you Gregg (slickmainer) for the visit.
The guys played horseshoes til it got dark on them plus in the rain. It was great to see everyone again. Sorry for the guys that couldn't make it but maybe next year. You were missed.
Jason, You and Ethan almost won it. Good to see you'se too.
Now for you Sinc, I'm at a lose for words for you. Let's see, If I'm 69 and you are 15 years older than me?
Thanks again guys.
Tim, I liked the video
