I apologize in advance for posting the C***y word, but thought this was funny. From the NY Times this morning:

"Although the memo cites Coke, it does not note that Coke is shorthand for Coca-Cola. Regardless, if Chevrolet plans to put the Chevy genie back in the bottle, the task could prove harder than climbing out of bankruptcy.

As of Wednesday night, the word Chevy appeared dozens of times on Chevrolet’s Web site, chevrolet.com, including a banner on the home page that said, “Over 1,000 people a day switch to Chevy.” One of the dropdown menus was “Experience Chevy.” On Facebook, brand pages include Chevy Camaro, Chevy Silverado and Team Chevy. "

Guess everyone didn't get the "branding memo" :-)

Nobody will stop calling it Chevy. I won't.

"I gotta go take a Chevy."

"Yuck, this tastes like Chevy."

Can't use Chevrolet like that.

I thought "Kill the Chevy" was a game 16 y/o kids played with their first training vehicle!
As my dad used to say, somewhere there was a horse that died a painful death from terminal constipation due to missing a key part of its anatomy.
