As to the hole in the steering linkage where the pitman arm goes.
Is the hole the same on 1965 linkage as 1973/1976 linkage ??
Ergo, will the later linkage fit my 1965 pitman arm ??
TIA.
Ricky

You should have no problems.
There was a long pause between adding power steering and converting to disc brakes on my Slick. I added power steering, but wasn't ready to put on the disc and power brakes yet, so I just did the power steering first.
For a while I used a '76 power steering gearbox and pitman arm on the '66 steering linkage, and it bolted up fine.

Thanks banjopicker66.
I put disk spindles on my 65 but havent changed the drag link.
The 65 drag link is shorter and only adjusts on the drivers side.
To get both wheels pointed straight ahead I had to adjust the drag link longer which puts my steering box off center.
Ricky.

That is as it should be. The drum spindle extensions are longer than those on the disc spindles.
The '70s drag link also is a solid non-adjustable piece; the steering adjusts only on the driver's side.
