Sad news about one of the KC Crew.....

Well, I've known for several weeks, but I need to let you all know -- a work related issue has arose and I will not be able to personally drive my truck up to SS IV. I might be able to drive up Friday afternoon and enjoy the evening, but at 8:00 AM on Saturday, duty will call back in KC.

I don't like driving at night with the old girl, so if I do drop by, it will be behind the wheel of a Toyota (one made here in USA, though)

The hospital I am at is "going live" with a fully electronic health records system, and I am one of the people in charge, so I have to be there. To bad I am not senior enough to have changed the date.......

Orignally, it was slated for 8/29, but they changed to 8/28 on me. Arrghhh......

So anyhow, I need to call the hotel and see if my reservation is still in the system -- when I made it, the lady seemed a little distracted. Perhaps someone who has been unable to get a "room in the inn" will get lucky....

and if you were in any other profession you'd probably have a few club members busting your chops about not being there the entire time

Dave, Hate to hear you might not make it but atleast come up for a Day. If it wernt for you I might still be in KC waiting for the carb Co to get me another one.
