'64 manual steering gear box swap question

Will a manual steering gear box off a '65 F100 fit on a '64 F100 straight axle?

Asking the question for a guy I work with. He has the '64 F100 and I got the '65 steering box.
His is wore out and he is looking for another one that is cheap and I may have it. :)
