Problem Solved!

Post by Gritsngumbo »

Well, my transportation problem to SS has been solved. ( http://fordtruk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18020 ) Brien (Bluebolt) has changed his vacation plans and will ride up to Altoona with me in my 04 F150. Plan now is to leave Shreveport EARLY Tuesday morning and drive up to Kansas City and meet up with the Slick Stock caravan (9 hours and change). Not sure if we will make if for Tuesday night dinner at the Pizza Shop or not, but I'm sure you guys will be hanging around somewhere close by afterward for conversation and adult beverages.
We will definitely meet up with you guys at the Cracker Barrel on Wednesday morning for breakfast and the trip on to Altoona. Just have to figure out which CB it is? Any cheap motel suggestions near the Cracker Barrel?
Note: That's the Slick 60's way isn't it? Problem identified, problem addressed, problem solved. What a group! See you guys/gals soon!

Gerald, we stayed at the Comfort inn on Ambassador DR, we thought they were reasonable!, Lyn couldn`t get a start at Cracker Barrel, something about the language barrier!
Honey, If I say I`ll fix something I will, there`s no need to remind me every 6 months!!

Wait until we give them our recommendations. She'll be a shoe-in.

Just be careful, Gerald. they even let Canadians in that Cracker barrel.. Yes, that particular one, and they eat grits there. . Never can tell where you will be contaminated.
I'm sure Skip will tell us... if he turns out to NOT be a 13 year old girl after all this time. I ain't holding my breath for 4 days to find out.

Not sure of the odds but I am the only one with virtual money on him coming, to my knowledge. Everyone else thinks Uncle Skip is like the Yeti or Aliens or something... just a rumor.
