Left Riverside, CA this morning with my son at 4:00AM (trying to beat the desert heat) and arrived in Globe, AZ to hook up fmartin_gila (Fred). The truck ran great and the air temp didn't get very hot until we hit Phoenix, AZ. Arrived in Globe about 12:00pm and catching some Z's in the motel until we meet with Fred tonight.
Leaving tomorrow morning toward Mountainair, NM.
Will keep you posted.

On the road!!!!!!!!!! Left Hutchison, KS in the rain and headed for KC, MO. Picked up Truckrat in Newton, KS and he caravan with Fred and I to KC. Beautiful weather, nice and cool.
Stopped at LMC Truck Shop in Lenexa, KS and did some shopping.
Met up with Casey65 and Cathy at their house and had a good visit. Went to dinner at the Pizza Shoppe and had dinner with 12 about other Slicksters and had a wonderful time of eating and talking and then went outside and looked at trucks.
Meeting tomorrow morning at Cracker Barrel for breakfast and caravaning to Altooma, IA.
See you all there tomorrow...

Boy am I behind schedule...caravan to Altoona, IA, without any major complications except for some of the older guys needing potty stops.
Had a wonderful time at Slick Stock IV...Kit and Robin et al put on a wonderful get-together.
Went to a local car show this morning and our club won 7 awards.
Great bunch of guys and gals and can't wait until the next one.
