Thanks yeah thats the stock color of the truck. Planning on doing away with the red inside the cab. Im not to partial to red as an interior color. I figure all white metal with the seat and floor in black so those 2 will change from the door tag a little bit. Ill try to scan some of my old pics from the days before digital cams. So I can show what the truck looked like when I first got it 20 yrs ago. It was in sad shape.

some body parts waiting their turn . Cab and bed come off next. Ill be getting that done soon.

The 352 out of a 65 is on the engine stand. The original motor the 292 is on the floor and the motor that is on the bench is a 360. The 325 will go in temporary until the 360 can be rebuilt and stroked to 390. Next truck project will be F100 in one of the years that the 352 will end up in eventually.

Hang onto the headliner piece & use it as a pattern to fab a replacement.

Thanks Rusty 63 thats my plan just havent had time to put it all on the floor upside down and tape it back together. It should work as a pattern any suggestions on how to make one from there.

Ive been busy clearing 20 some years worth of stuff out of the garage so I would have room to work. Also added 4 8ft overhead floresent shop lights and extra power outlets at the bench and on the wall. Next will be getting a welder and hooking up power for it. Along the way I have found some stuff for the truck I forgot that I had. kind of doing a little on the truck when time between garage and work and family permit.

Yeah got to admit thats my doing. Back in the day driving around in 65 I thought that would help with the power band. In actuality was doing nothing for it. I now have a cast 4 intake manifold for it and some hedders should help when it goes in. Ill have to get busy and scan some old photos of the truck. dont have any digital pics as it was before digital photos 35mm was it.

opps thats suppose to say in a 65 not in 65. I got it in the late 70s. When you see pics you will understand. I called it my truck of many colors but it ran very good.

This is what the truck looked like 20 + years when I purchased for $800.00 dollars. It was a rust bucket worked to death.

One more to show how bad the rust was. I was still driving it around at this time. Motor smoked bad doors didnt close right. Lots more rust than what shows up int the pics.

Thanks Red yup lots of work to do. Got that 360 lying on the bench when all is said and done it will be stroked to a 390 4 barrel and some headers. Not quite original but very close. I did a complete body replacement in my backyard then the big slick sat for a few years. LOL . I had it down to the frame cleaned and painted but oh well time to do it all over again but more in depth this time so stay tuned.

Some more pics from early on. Cleaned and painted used primer and brushed on rustoleum gloss black. As the truck sits now that paint is still holding up but some rust is comming back
