Hi to my fellow Coloradoans. I have 2 '66 Slicks. The long bed has been a workhorse for me. I restored it about 10 years ago. It has a 460, ps, disc brakes, C6, power windows. Painted dark Green. Great truck. I am close to completing a short bed with a 429, C6, disc brakes, ps, shaved door handles, pwr windows. remote entry system, cowl induction hood, custom grille and soon to be installed a custom interior with buckets, center console, and the original instrument cluster. Painted the same green as the LB.

Would love to meet and show off and perhaps help others out there as well as see what others have done.

Look forward to meeting you all. By the way, how do I post pictures?

You mentioned Carrol Shelby. I met him at a party at the local Shelby Museum near Boulder. It was great fun meeting and talking with him and Bob Bondurant and Jack Sears. And of course I had each of them sign the Glove Box door of my Slick. I can't wait to put it back in the truck when it's time.
