Travel Plans too and from SlickStock-5 2012

Post by Old_Ford_Man »

Well I started this thread so that everyone that is going to the SlickStock-5 2012 could post their route information, the day they are going to leave, the time, etc. That way maybe a few of can head out together. I know the event is still is sometime away but I thought it would be easy to find people to group up with on the trip up is everyone post their trip info in one place.

So I guess I will start off, I plan to leave my house Saturday August 11, 2012 about 5:00am and I will take I-45 to Dallas and I will then take I-75 north until I take the Indian Nation Turnpike toward Henryetta, OK where I will connect to I-75 and continue through Tulsa until I reach Hwy-20 outside of Collinsville and from there I will make a couple of days pit stop to visit the inlaws.

I will leave there Tuesday August 14, 2012 and head to SlickStock-5 2012 should be there between 12:00 – 1:00pm. I will have to leave early Saturday to head back home, so that is the game plan so far.

I am not sure what day I'll head to KC, either Monday or Tuesday that week.
Depends a lot on what is going on.
Will update this later.
Will be running I-35 North from Okc up thru Wichita and over to Emporia, then on up the free road to KC.
350 miles or 5 hours, which ever comes first. TR

I don't know about Gatorade, but the Alabama contingent can be counted on to provide some "redneck cool-aid".
