My 6's

Post by Judi48 »

For those of you who haven't met my 6's, I finally got some pictures posted. The 3 pictures of flat material are the trunk liners I snagged from the junk yard to try out as roof insulation.
Thanks

Nice job on the interior. The seats look good - what did they come out of?

I had not thought of re-using rear floor carpeting - my local pull-a-part is full of cars with fairly clean interiors. I'm going to have to take another walkthru and see if I can score a big wide piece of flat stuff. Sure beats the price of the rubber floormats. But I'm not sure how well it will work for headliner. Bet it cuts down on road noise better than the stock perforated one.

The seats are out of a Subaru mini van, The carpet is a $20. roll from home depot I cut to fit, The headliner is from the trunk carpeting of the vehicles listed.

For your carpeting, look at the vans. They seem to have the biggest pieces.
