Slick 60's

I'm having a hard time finding wheels I like in a 5x5.5" (or 5x139.7mm) bolt pattern. Anyone use billet wheel adapters on their Slicks to go to a 4.5" or 4.75" BP??

Not really an answer to your question...But, but have you looked at Radirs?
There made in the USA, they are period correct,I thought they were reasonably priced.... and they drilled them to 5.5" hole pattern upon request

Summit has a wheel similar to mine in our bolt pattern. These are American Racing and are out of production.

trucks I have seen at the shows,, owners showed me pictures of what wheel adapters did to there trucks when failed

Wheel adapters do not get good responses on here or any car/truck forum. They can actually cause harm. Just look around, F-150 for a while had our bolt pattern, as well as Rams/Dakotas, and the list goes on....

I have Centerline convo pro wheels on mine and they are 5 on 5.5 bp.

I have a set wheel adapters that I had on my 65 to go to 4.5. I had a set of cragar rims off a camaro that I put on. I used them for 2 years. The only problem I had with them was they threw off my tire ballance and they lower the wieght capacity of the truck, which isnt a problem if you are gonna just drive it. ) I took them off cause I converted to front disc brakes and the adapters would not fit over the hub on the rotors. I have heard horror stories about using them so I cant say that there a good idea or not. Just giving my experience with them. I actually am looking to get rid of them if interested.
