Intro

Hello to all! I wanted to introduce myself. I found this forum almost by accident, otherwise I would have been here sooner! My pride and joy is a 1964 F100 that I've owned since 1999, when I bought it from a relative. It's still mostly original with a 223 and 3 speed with the shifter moved to the floor. I would not say its been restored but rather preserved in my efforts to keep it running. It is still a work in progress. It gets driven frequently and is no garage queen! I have a fondness for these trucks since I learned to drive in my dad's '66 F100 (that is, when the shifter levers wouldn't get stuck on the 3 on the tree and we'd have to free them up with a large screwdriver)

welcome to the big show. love that truck! 64 shorties are my favs. and there's the short bed tool box everyone's been talking about too. cool. never seen one.

Thanks! That toolbox is where I stow my tow rope and straps to pull other vehicles!
