I heard about a 59-60 or so hydraulic clutch getting used in a slick and was curious. Does anyone have info/photos or anything on this application? Is it legit?

I'm sure it can be done. They use a 4 bolt master cylinder whereas our trucks are set up for a two bolt, similar to the brake cylinder.
Some big slicks had a hydraulic clutch. You can get all of the parts from one, the master cylinder, slave cylinder, pedal, and pushrods, and swap it to your truck.
I started to try to install one but ran into problems that I didn't want to sort out at the time. It's toward the middle of this post:

Alan,
I would love to see better pics of the hydaulic clutch set up.
How easy are they to come by down there? They would make headers a lot easier to install without the Z bracket.

Well I have the slave cyl from the 312 I picked up after a tree fell on a 60 truck, The real problem is that the clutch master appears to be a larger bore than the brake master and hard to find
