Shipping large parts

Post by Uncle Skip »

Our local member, 65Lover discovered this excellent resource for shipping LARGE or HEAVY parts.
What it amounts to is an eBay for shippers.
You put what you want shipped on their site and truckers deadheading home with no load bid to bring it to you.
She has had good luck with it so maybe you might want to check it out.
Thanks Ruthie.

Accepted a bid to have a cab shipped from Az to Pa for $500. I wouldn't make out of two states for that price. I'll let you know the results when it arrives!

Not yet. I was going to wait until I had the whole thing torn down. But thats not a bad idea. The old cabs ready to come off, then the engine and axles. Then its time to clean and rebuild. A thread might be a good idea.

I had a 1956 Ranch Wagon that I recently bought shipped through USHIP.The shipper that I chose did a great job and the price was decent.

I did hauling for 1 1/2 years with this site being my main source for loads. Cars, trucks, parts, tractors and what ever would fit on my trailer.
