Inland North West Meet and Greet

Ok all you guys within a couple hundred miles of Spokane would you be interested in getting together some where in the region for a face to face. I am only suggesting the Spokane area because it is centrally located and the distance is not chiseled in stone either. It seems to me that if a whole bunch of us can travel all the way to the midwest every other year we should be able to do the same thing in our own back yard once in a while. I know my old 62 is up for a few hundred miles. We could make it like a check out cruze to build confidence for the big trip to KC next year.
Anyone with an idea of someplace and a date jump in here.
It could be hosted at a park, a resturant, someones shop, whatever.
My friend and resto partner has a campground here on the river we could hold it at. I am more than willing to host it. I'm just trying to get something started, open to any sugestions. We might even get Johnny Canuck and some other Canadians to come.

From the almost deep south (Albany Oregon that is) the drive would be fun it is just getting a date that fits. A few should be chimming in soon so maybe we could figure out something in mid July.

Mark: you better make sure to be home before Aug 19-21, as that is the weekend they are having DRAGWARS in Grande Prairie!!
http://www.dragwars.ca/
It's only held every second year, so if you miss this one, the next one isn't until 2013!

HoofBeat....
Where on the Coast are you shooting for...?
Even if something doesn't happen as a big get together, there are always a few of us that can get away to play...
I am an hour from the Central Oregon Coast at Florence...

I'll for sure make time when you get here. Looking forward to meeting you and your family. I'll have the BBQ ready to go. What kind of meat do you all like?

We will probably stay around Cannon Beach. Might make it as far south as Lincoln City. Its our 4th time going down there and really like it.
Mike, we are not fussy at all. Ribs and burgers satisfy everyone usually.

Ribs and burgers it shall be. I've got a couple of rubs I want to try out so by the time you get here I should have it perfected.
Pork or beef ribs or does it matter.

That sounds like a plan. August is nice on the Oregon coast. Post your time line and I will also see about getting over to the coast. I am about 60 minutes from Lincoln City.
64 Crew are you involved with "Slicks" in Eugene? If so might be good to let Robert and the group in on this as well.

I'll let him know ras4434....
he does alot of lurking, so he might be babysitting this thread already...But I'll let everyone know here...
I also just added another Ultra Rare Supercab to my Stable...
I bought a 1959 f350 4x4 Crew / Super cab 2 door....
It's been repowered to a 460 and C-6....runs and drives...
Has issues...
I will post pics of it once the Rain lets up long enough to get some decent pics....
Sounds like some fun at the Coast....

We will be in Cannon Beach from Aug 5th to Aug 10th buit are flexible to move around. Plan on being in Tillamook and Lincoln City as well
Mike, we were hoping maybe the weekend of July 30 or 31 to come see you if that works. Beef is great but it is also divine to dine on swine!

Seriously, we are not fussy

That works for us Mark. To bad you won't be here on the 6th of Aug when we have our annual car show here in Pinehurst. We usually have about 400 cars from all over the region. The club is The Commancheros, it was formed it the middle 60's. The show is billed as "Cruisn' -N- Groovin with the Commancheros".
How are you traveling? In a motor home or a camp trailer.

That is too bad, would have been nice to see that. We are just taking my crewcab and going to motel it. We sold the motorhome a couple years ago. I thought this way I could grab an enclosed down there if I ran across a deal.

Sounds like a plan to me. Where are you planning to stay while you are in this area? Were about 35 miles east of CDA on I 90, exit 45 turn right and go through Pinehurst. We are 3 miles from the freeway.
