Heading east you can see the Rockies in the background. 40 MPH wind and 22 horsepower, bad combo

Cool drive JC! I just remember there wasn't too much to see in Fort MacLeod.

Geez, on my several passings through, I was thinking that if I wasn't "On a Mission" I would love to slow down and cruise up & down a few side streets, as just on the main road through, there is a bunch of tin laying around....imagine what could be lurking a few blocks off the beaten path??

OK not the greatest photographer whilst going 35 MPH down a 4 lane highway into the wind, I must admit. For those who lack imagination here ya go. 93 registered model T's from Nebraska,Arizona,Missouri, California, Iowa, Alberta, Washington, Aussieland Newzieland and BC. and two of us who weren't registered and just showed up. I drove out and the old man followed me in his air conditioned Ranger. The T was and is his first vehicle, owned since 1947, Pat! Max there ain't much there but there was a turd load of 84 year old-plus Fords there today.Had some trouble with the carb tuning on the way back, but downhill with a tailwind, the old man told me I was doing 75 KPH!!! and they said your blood would boil in your veins if you went past 70!! It's up to you to figure out how fast that is in miles, I find it all too discountenancing LOL

The model T races were on a school oval running track. They were for the little "Speedster" type cars that were there. When my dad gets around to emailing me the pics that are all on his camera, I can show ya. 'Course he moves at a reduced rate of speed LOL so that might be a while. And as a kid, or any other time, Ezer I avoided Fort Macleod. The cops there are just arses. Been pulled over for nothing more times in that town than anywhere else.

I love less-than-impeccable Model T's. The most useless thing at a car show is a Model T restored to absurd perfection, riding on white rubber tires with canvas socks on them. Not how anyone ever used 'em. Your Dad's truck rocks!
