I agree, Bill, the black one is my favorite of the two as well.
But I about spit my iced tea out when I saw the selling price was up over 18K$!

Yeah, it's nice........but not that nice to me!

I like the black one although the " black and red rat rod thing "has gotten very old to me . I still prefer it over the fauxtina nonsense on the blue one .

I like both of them, although he botched the faded look!, go and look at trucks that have it before putting wear spots that don`t make sense!, I see both of them have the same rear shock treatment!

Regarding the blue & white rat rod: "THE TRANY IS A TRANSOMATIC 3 SPD"

Is the seller just trying to say that it has a 3-speed automatic transmission?
I'd guess a C-4 behind that 351 Windsor....

Both trucks are pretty nice, I like the black one best and even though the black and red things has been done a lot I like it, there's probably a reason it's done a lot, it looks awesome. I may even do mine black satin for awhile, lot's to do though so who knows where it'll end up. Both of them are way nicer than mine, for now and maybe forever.

I hadn't seen that black one since it got the graphics and the pinstriping. I kinda like it on the dash, it breaks up all that red.

I had to go back and look at the blue once since ya'll were talking about it soo....doesn't he realize when you "try" to make something look worn, it doesn't really? That's kinda dumb, it would have looked way better if it had been left nice.

These Are Nice, But Why? Put 20K Into A Ratrod? Isn't The Hole Idea Of A Ratrod To Be A "Low-Buck" Middle Finger To The High Dollar Hot-Rods You See That Are Trailed to The "Good-Guys" Car Shows?... Why Color Sand Through A Nice Paint Job? If I Could Afford A Nice Paint Job My Truck Wouldn't Have Rust On It. "Wimbledon-White Is The New Flat-Black"

Instead of patina, it looks like he was getting the blue/white ready for a new paint job  . I think he realized after he got done,he had goofed up a nice paint job and can't afford to repaint it,so he's going to sell it.

Right there with yall on the blue and white one.
Nice clean looking truck and if it were mine I'd repaint the white so it looked right.
Like the stance and all, just not the paint rubbed off. TR

I've never had one of these trucks lowered or rode in a lowered 61-66. Ya'll got my curiosity up . I'd like to go for a ride in one of these lowriders someday to see for myself. How do they ride?Looks like they would handle great. Trouble is I already bump my head on the top of my door opening now sometimes with it setting stock.

That Black truck is one of my favorites. Brian Pope (UniFan) Built it. I saw it in person a couple of years ago at the Smokey Mountain F100 Run in Tn. It is sharp from front to rear. I crawled all over the truck and it was like a new one. He's building another under the Projects and Builds. I think its called 6 pack. Its a crew that is laying rocker.

I had been just sort of thinking of the eventual finish on my truck, and then I view this thread which sort of parallels a couple of my ideas....

But now I don't know, with the RAGE these to trucks have stirred up !

I want to some how eclipse them and take it to a hair ripping level of fervor never yet achieved ! hahahah ...

My wife thinks panel lines and rivets like a weathered WW2 fighter ;)
